On a Mission Spring 2018

by CAROLYN JONES It’s amazing how life stops and sticks in your mind, like memory snapshots. Although my mother passed in 2013, her impact on my life will stay with me forever. I have so many life lessons from my mom. The first time she talked me into riding the Racer at Kings Island, I was around 6 Life’s Journey and she loved roller coasters. I, however, wasn’t as enthusiastic. She prepped me the entire time we waited in line. “All you have to do is hang on tight and laugh,” she said. I kept thinking there would be no way out of Motherly Advice Through Proverbs 31:25-26 She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness. 14 | SPRING 2018 ON A MISSION women-on-a-mission.com
