On a Mission Spring 2018

I have failed miserably in my lifetime. Both people and God. No matter how good my inten- tions, failure is failure. It breaks my heart, and many failures have left deep scars that I carry everyday. I am thankful for forgiveness from God and people, and do not take it lightly. If you are anything like me, you probably fail God more than you do people. I am so thankful that God is a forgiving and loving God, full of mercy and grace. Failures and sins that I would repeat against God used to really bring me down. It took a long time for me to grasp the concept of His mercy and grace, and the true depth of Jesus’ atone- ment. I had to also gain a better understand- ing of my own heart. It truly comes down to a heart-matter. It’s not the number of times I fail Him that counts. It’s the conviction of my heart, and the sorrow I feel each and every time.
